Privacy Policy

Who we are

Inventario is a Cerize product. This policy describes what data we collect when you use Inventario (the marketing site and the app), why, and what control you have over it.

Data we collect

Account: name, email, password (encrypted), preferred language.

Your restaurant's operational data: inventory, recipes, suppliers, prices, invoices, deliveries — anything you or your team enter, or that the integrations below sync.

POS integrations (Toast, Square, Clover, Lightspeed): menu, items sold, and modifiers, to the extent needed to deduct stock automatically. We never access your customers' payment data.

Gmail integration: if you turn it on, Inventario reads supplier-invoice emails and attachments from the account you choose to connect, to extract invoice line items (quantities, prices, products) through automated processing (including a third-party AI service — see "Subprocessors" below). We don't read the rest of your inbox.

Billing: processed by Stripe. We never store your full card number on our servers.

Technical data: login logs, IP address, device type, for security and troubleshooting.

Why we collect it

  • To provide the service: inventory tracking, automatic deduction, order suggestions, reports.
  • To secure your account and prevent fraud.
  • To bill your subscription.
  • To respond when you contact us.
  • To improve the product — never by reselling your data.

Subprocessors

We share certain data with vendors who help us run the service, under contracts limiting them to that use:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Cloud hosting (Railway, Vercel) — hosting the app and its data.
  • A third-party AI service (Anthropic/Claude) — automated extraction of content from the invoices you submit.
  • Google — access to your Gmail if you enable that integration, per the authorization you grant.
  • POS providers (Toast, Square, Clover, Lightspeed) — per the integration you enable.

We do not sell your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

As long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable time, except where we're legally required to retain it (e.g., tax records).

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including Quebec's Law 25, or your US state's privacy law), you generally have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you.
  • Have it corrected if inaccurate.
  • Request deletion.
  • Request a portable copy.
  • Withdraw a consent you gave (e.g., disable the Gmail integration).

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Internal access is limited to what's needed to run the service.

Cookies

We use cookies that are essential to authentication and to the app functioning — no third-party advertising cookies.

Children

Inventario isn't intended for people under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll notify you by email or within the app.
